Film, Movie, Pictures On A Screen: What Does It Mean?
A "Film" is:
Something worth studying. Not merely a "movie," a film has aesthetic value that surpasses typical movie-going experiences and can be classified as art. The greatest movies ever made are films!
A "Movie" is:
A movie is an enjoyable and entertaining experience. Most "movies" are just that - movies. Some may include significant aesthetic qualities such as great acting, writing, or cinematography, but is it not an ever lasting film that could be analyzed and studied for years to come.
"Pictures on a screen" is:
A waste of not only the film (or digital space) it was shot on, but a waste of your time to watch. They are terrible movies and include no aesthetic qualities whatsoever. Truly terrible.
